Version 2.0 Breakdown
Section 1 - Army Nation (the game)
1.01 Multiple Accounts
Multiple accounts under any circumstances are not permitted. There is a limit to one account per IP address, and family members may be excluded with permission from staff.
1.02 Cheating & Tampering
Manipulating the game environment in any way or method is strictly prohibited, please dually note; using in-game textboxes or variables parse within the address are protected, any it is unlawful to edit them in any way.
Cheating in any way whether it be by tampering with game software or the use of manipulation of other players is not allowed, and is not tolerated in any manner.
1.03 Offensive Material
Posting offensive material on this web site is not permitted; this includes but is not limited to: Character Images, Message Board Posts, or any other form of user-input. Offensive material includes but is not limited to: Porn, Racism, Alcohol or Cigarette Advertisements, ect…
1.04 Player/Clan Impersonation
Impersonating another player and/or clan is not permitted; this includes but is not limited to Character Name, Clan Name, Message board/Mail Signatures or Trademarks.
Section 2 - Communications
2.01 Vulgar or Offensive/Demeaning Language
The use of vulgar language is not permitted or tolerated, this includes but not limited to the use of "swear" words, racism, name calling, arguing on chat, hurtful conversations on other chat clients that end up reported by others via copies of those chats, Using any form of demeaning terms that interject with any user(s) religious or cultural beliefs is prohibited, and will not be tolerated.
Any form of symbolization in any attempts to bypass the game filter, or hide the meaning, is not allowed, and is considered a valid spelling of the term. This includes but is not limited to characters like #%@$&*^ or roflmao to replace the real words.
2.02 Sexual Harassment
Any form or manner of sexual harassment is not permitted, and will not be tolerated; at all. This includes but not limited to the demeaning of a persons gender.
2.03 Illegal Advertising
Placing advertisements into the game by Message Board or Chat Box is not permitted. This does not include game signatures, or hyperlinks*.
* Hyperlinks meaning within direct limitations to the subject of the post made.
2.04 Excessive Posting / Spamming or Flooding
Any form of flooding or spamming the Message Board and/or Chat Box is not permitted. This includes but not limited to: Multiple Posts Of Same Subject, Multiple Posts Of Same Demeanor, Posting "Off-Topic" or "Out-Of-Place", and most importantly continuing after an admin has asked you to stop what it is you are doing. NO Exceptions. ect...
Section 3 - The Common Sense Clause
The use of vulgar language is not permitted or tolerated, this includes but not limited to the use of "swear" words and racism.
In any attempt to bypass the terms of service is strictly prohibited. These rules are simple. The staff herein have the right to make consequential decisions based on the common sense in which they withhold. Any malicious activity within the game that is considered to jeopardize the stability or environment in-game is prohibited.
Use Common Sense, that's why it's there!
Section 4 - Consequences
4.01 Warning
A warning may be applied if you are within a reasonable break of the terms of service or 'Common Sense Clause'. This is a simple verbal warning of your mistake, and a chance to change your habits without further steps to provide a good environment.
4.02 Communications Ban
A Communications Ban may be applied if the violation(s) are within acceptable limits to reprimand a user from using these features for a period of time. A warning is not required, but suggested if within a reasonable break of the terms of service or 'Common Sense Clause'.
4.03 Illegal Advertising
An Account Lock can be applied if the user has maliciously failed to obey the terms provided herein. Account Locks can be for a set period of time (days), and cannot be removed without staff involvement. A warning is not required, but suggested if within a reasonable break of the terms of service or 'Common Sense Clause'.
2.04 Account Lock
Any form of flooding or spamming the Message Board and/or Chat Box is not permitted. This includes but not limited to: Multiple Posts Of Same Subject, Multiple Posts Of Same Demeanor, Posting "Off-Topic" or "Out-Of-Place", ect...
2.05 Account Deletion
Account Deletion may only be considered in extreme cases, and is not suggested to staff. In case of severe emergencies, in which a user has maliciously bypassed our locking system, an account may be placed for deletion, which will delete all account information from the database resulting in all data of the account being lost. A lock must be in place for this action to be made upon, and valid reasoning must be present.
Section 5 - Living Document
The Army Nation Terms of Service is a living document, and may be changed at anytime without warning. It is your responsibility to check back on this page every so often to read about updates & changes to the terms herein.
Specific & Legal Conduct
Use of and participation in Army Nations website is contingent upon your acceptance of the following terms and rules. By participating in the interactive community, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms. Please make yourself familiar with the Rules & Regulations before playing or posting. The message Boards and chat are here to encourage community building, and for gamers to congregate and interact by sharing information, etc.
Please follow these guidelines; failure to do so may result in suspension or permanent banning from the game and Message Boards.
Respectful Conduct:
This includes respect to your fellow user and respect for Army Nation staff. The Administrators work very hard for the community, so please respect their efforts. Disrespect towards Administrators will not be tolerated.
Not responding to or ignoring admin warnings will lead to disciplinary actions.
Personal attacks and flaming are prohibited. This specifically means any text/post that is blatantly attacking another person on or off the site, especially in a personal way.
Please don't type all in CAPS while chatting or posting to the message boards.
Complaints about the game or otherwise will NOT be posted on the Message Boards. Any complaints about Army Nation should be directed to the staff.
Customer Service & Cheating:
Posts concerning cheaters/hacking should be submitted to the staff; please use the admin@armynation.net link to send a request.
Please DO NOT post information or links on hacks and exploits. If you have valid information on a hacker or exploit, please speak to any one of the staff directly, or send me a private message.
Posting Rules:
Please don't spam or multipost for any reason.
Please, for the sake of our users without broadband, do not post large images.
Keep off-topic discussions in off-topic.
"Relevant Conversation" - please try to stay on topic.
The posting of illegal 3rd party sites is strictly prohibited and will not be allowed, as is spamming for any site in general.
Personal Information:
Participants shall not post messages containing personal information including but not limited to full name, home address, email address or telephone numbers in the public areas.
Inappropriate Content:
Any use of inappropriate content will not be tolerated. Any content that includes inappropriate content will be deleted. If deemed necessary by Army Nation staff, the user in offense may be suspended or permanently banned.
Use of inappropriate language will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, statements, images, usernames, and words that are sexual, vulgar, obscene, profane, defamatory, abusive, hateful, bigoted, or otherwise offensive to others; thinly-veiled obscenities (using alternate letters/symbols); harassment and verbal attacks intended to belittle, humiliate, threaten, or cause embarrassment to another Member; and material advocating or discussing illegal activities. Any attempt to deliberately circumvent the censor filter is prohibited.
Posting of pornography, racist or otherwise discriminating remarks, threats to cause physical or mental harm, extreme offensive language, material that breaks any law or otherwise totally unacceptable posts or links to pages that contain the aforementioned material will result in an immediate suspension and possible ban from the site.

Army Nation shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor content in order to respond to or comment upon communications by Participants and in order to determine compliance with the foregoing Rules of Conduct. Army Nation shall have the right and sole discretion to edit, to refuse to port or to remove any content whatsoever which it finds to be in violation of the provisions hereof or which it finds in its sole discretion to be otherwise objectionable for any reason.
The opinions expressed in the message boards are not necessarily (and in some cases not at all) those of Army Nation. Army Nation is not responsible for any materials provided by users which are deemed harmful or offensive to others. Army Nation is not responsible in any way for any injury, loss, or damage which occurs as a result of an opinion expressed or information provided in these sections of the site. Army Nation is not responsible for the content of any sites linked to Army Nation.
Army Nation makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content in the Army Nation site or the accuracy or reliability of any information or statements contained therein. All statements, advice and opinions made by Participants on the Army Nation website are those of such Participants only, and Army Nation neither endorses nor shall be held responsible for them.
